Feb. 2 is when Lantana Lou Performs “Me and My Shadow.”

If it’s February 2 it is Lantana Lou Day in Palm Beach County. And the day I resurrect my exchange with Mo and Sally on KOOL 105.5. They play it every year on Groundhog Day. And so do I.

Edmund skellings tallHe was Florida Poet Laureate for life. Edmund Skellings has died. Happened a few months ago but I just learned of it. I met with Edmund Skellings when he was head of computer animation at Florida Atlantic University’s Fort Lauderdale Campus. Jovial and expansive guy with a twinkle in his eye. He gave me CDs of his recitations. I will post a few here.
