Thanks for all the memories in Chicago radio. Living in the Burbs your stories were why I tuned into the station you were on… Hope all is well… you may life in Chicago’s traffic a lot less difficult.. All our best…

Wow! I had no idea you were back in town. Flipping through the dial because tired of what’s on offer on other stations. So great to hear your voice again. You are such a sharp wit with a great voice. I can’t say much for the guy who is on the show with you though. He sounds dull and uninformed. That’s the radio biz these days I guess. Sorry about the harsh criticism of your co-host, but I’ve been listening for 15 minutes now and it’s true. I won’t hold it against you if you delete this comment. Great to hear your voice again. I wish you could do your really original morning show on WJNO again.

    Hi Dave

So I am watching the Westminster Dog show because my wife is infatuated with canines of every sort, which is genuinely odd as we have a cat that in no way can be confused with a hound of any sort. While the breeds of varying pedigree were paraded around the arena, the announcer shucked jibs and quips about the traits of each four-legged pedestrian hawking for treats, I thought to myself that guy announcing sounds a lot like Dave.

With that said, I have to ask, did you lend you voice to the Westminster Dog Show? I would have to ponder that not many people possess your informed twang but I would have bet a shiny penny, which these day are worth more than Abe Lincoln’s face valve, that it was either you calling the dogs home or you were hiding behind my television pulling the prank of the century. (I did look just so you know.)

Hiya, Tim. Anita loves the Westminster Show, too, but the closest I come to being there is sitting on the couch watching the USA Network. I’ll have to listen more closely to the talker, and perhaps I can practice saying Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever with the proper enunciation.
